Where The Trail Ends

watching through the window
traffic flying by
reflections of decisions made in silence
i made in the blinking of an eye
so long ago i let that dream go
why?

in the time we live
in the time we die
confusion surrounding minds eye

if you leave me now
i would understand
looking for happiness planned

in my lifetime i have come to know
love is the one thing we must let go

then when you find the road it bends
it is where the trail ends
