Breathe

and you were dreaming
so i watched you
a sleek design
form and function
release and control
breathe in
breathe out

and you spoke in your sleep
so i listened
a few words
dissolved into forever
action reaction
breathe in
breathe out

and you slowly wake to find me
watching you
smiling, remembering
very nearly perfection
breathe in
breathe out
at

    This was a piece written for a painting a former friend had painted. The painting is of Miss M.
